Since the 4th of April 2020, it is authorized to electrify a thermic vehicle to reduce its emissions of greenhouse gases and pollutants. This conversion, called retrofitting, consists of removing the internal combustion engine and the tank from the vehicle and replacing them with an electric motor and a battery.
